Chris Larrabee has 35 years of experience in the financial services industry helping clients plan for and enjoy retirement. Backed by this experience, he has successfully navigated different market environments to help provide peace of mind for his clients through sound financial decisions.
To Chris, successful financial planning and investing are much more than crunching numbers and understanding the latest market trends. As much as people need to know about financial markets and investments, they also need to understand themselves. Chris believes a large part of investing involves investor behavior, and the ability to control that behavior during periods of market volatility leading to long-term success.
Before becoming a financial advisor in 1987, Chris earned a degree in finance from Northern Illinois University. Chris obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2000.
Outside of work, Chris is on the Board of Directors for CASA of DuPage County and serves on their finance committee. In his free time, you will likely find Chris competing on the paddle tennis courts. Whether it’s biking, hiking, or playing paddle tennis, Chris loves being outdoors. He’s also a voracious reader and enjoys playing all card games—from Uno to Bridge.
